While running this AM, I heard spring peepers (Pseudacris crucifer) for the first time this spring. The image is linked to an mp3 clip. There were a few around the island at Lake Scogo and then more at the western, upper end of the lake, in the swampy area. There were none at Pooh Hollow, but I heard some at what Pat calls Pooh Bridge.
