For those who find jumping off mountains and buildings insufficiently (or too) thrilling consider using a rocket belt for flight. Weird Science , which is apparently a PBS show, has some footage that’s fun to watch. Start with this one: Where’s my Rocket Belt? that tells the story over time.

And then there’s Yves Rossy (select performances from the element at the top on that page; note that there are ads for watches embedded; also see YouTube video here and here), who straps on wings with jet packs attached to them and jumps out of airplanes. Check the related videos for more. Whew!

Tax break bonus

He could get quite a tax break on that if he’d just give it to some 503c orgs. Shoot, he could even simply endow a new charity. Or even make a deal with Goldman Sachs to feed some hungry people, or get ‘em needed medical supplies, or…or….
