Treehugger

What was once-upon-a-time a pejorative term has been turned on its head. The green-advocacy site treehugger (ahem!) embraces the moniker and presents itself as a resource where one can get news across categories (e.g., transportation), participate in a social network (e.g., forum), and learn about possible actions (e.g., green video contest). There is, to be sure, a lot of advertising.
