M. K. Gandhi

Gandhi; thanks to WikiCommonsBorn 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat (India), Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is rightly celebrated for his contributions to Indian independence. Employing non-violent means and mass civil disobedience, Gandhi resisted tyranny in South Africa and India, but his influence transcends that immediate struggle. I hope that his ideas achieve greater and greater effects as time continues.
