The Virginia Coalition for Open Government is holding its ninth annual access Conference 22 & 23 May at the Wingate-by-Wyndham Hotel in Fredericksburg (VA, US). The not-for-profit VCOG, as it is called, focuses on promoting access to government records, meetings, and other proceedings of the Virginia and local governments. They seek to provide citizens access to governmental data, not to promote a particular view about how those data should be interpreted.

It’s appropriate that folks in Mr. Jefferson’s neighborhood would seek to shine a light on governmental processes and records. Registration information for the touted event is is available here. For more info about CVOG, look here.
